Unauthorized Transaction Refund

I am wondering if anyone is able to tell me (since there is no actual contact info for PayPal) if once an unauthorized transaction dispute has been reviewed and approved does the money get refund to the original payment method (bank account) or does it get applied to the actual PayPal account? And how long does the refund take to appear?
