Issuing a refund/30 days expiration

So i can't accept payments on my account due getting my documentation rejected over and over for some reason. That's not the real issue real, my issue is i got paid 50$ and i can't accept it nor refund it. The "issue a refund" button isn't there, i asked some questions about issuing a refund with the paypal automated message system, it asked me to give it the transaction ID, which i did and then it just said that time of payment can't be refunded.

So... my question is what will happen to that money? Will it just stay stuck forever? Will it eventually "time out" and be refunded anyways even though it can't be manually refunded?

If you didn't accept it then it should be showing as unclaimed on the senders side?

If so and it remains unclaimed it should time out 30 days post them sending it.
