Issue with payment processing

I am currently having an issue of paying for an item on ebay with paypal. It keeps saying

"Unfortunately we can't process your payment. Here's your options:

Check out with another payment method.

Select a different payment option."

I have added my bank account to my paypal to try and use that but then it still declines my method. Is it the size of the item purchase that could affect this because I am trying to buy something worth a couple hundred bucks. My card info is correct and I am not having issues with my bank, so I don't really understand what to do. Also I did check if I needed to confirm my card but I did not.

I just made a post about this. I was having the same problem and resolved it by calling PayPal. If you're paying for a large transaction, it is probably due to a security measure put in place by PayPal. I explain it more in the post. Hope it helps.
