Funds on Hold because of multiple currency

Please help me why my funds were on hold because my friend sent me different currency from my default currency. Is there something I need to do on my end so I can withdraw mine funds?

Thanks for reaching out to us in regards to the funds that are being held on your PayPal account.

If you have received funds in a different currency, you would need to ensure that the currency is added to your PayPal balance. Then you may need to transfer the funds to your local currency in order to withdraw the funds to your bank account.
