Today I've check my online Banking Report and there is Authorization (not a confirmed transaction) from Oct-3rd-2020 (nearly 2 weeks ago) on my Credit Card for a registered amount on a Steam Games purchase. The charge has, I think, my account ID number (as it is the same as my previous purchases).
The issue is that around that date I have only made 2 small charges (that are not even close to that amount). And they are already registered - one on the 2nd and the other on the 3rd of October. And also only these 2 same charges are registered on Steam purchase history.
Can someone have assessed my PayPal account, used it to make a purchase on Steam, and once completed remove the transaction from my PayPal activity history? And if not, how could such a charge get on to my Credit Card?
