When a payment is "pending" is that amount already taken from balance or just preserved?

Hi @ErwinS,
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community Forum!
It depends on what type of payment you are referring to. If you sent a payment and the amount is showing as 'Pending', the amount would be temporarily charged to the account until the transaction completes. Only when the transaction has been completed the charge is definitive.
I hope this helps.

So a purchase of like €100 will be seen as €100 gone off your balance but it's not yet gone to the sellers account so it's not available to use anymore... The balance shows the available amount if I understood correctly...

Hi @ErwinS,
If you have sent a payment and it is marked as complete it would mean that the money has been taken and sent to the seller. If on their end it is on hold, that would be a separate issue. The money would be waiting on their account for them to complete an action.
