I am adding PayPal to my online payment options, and I want to know the following:
Does PayPal include the shipping costs when calculating their 2.9% take on each item/sale or is that separate?
For example: A sale that is $5.99, $6.45 including tax, but the shipping is an additional $6.70, will Paypal calculate that 2.9% on just the $5.99 or the total including tax and shipping?? Just trying to see if this option will even be worth losing almost $1 per item for the convenience of having it.
Thanks!

Hi @E_2Kool,
Thanks for your question about fees. The fee is applied to the total amount of the payment sent. The fee is not divided or only applied to certain parts of the payment.
