In mid-2015 PayPal Here launched its new contactless card reader. The main new functionality is that the new card reader supports NFC payments (Near Field Communication) enabling you to accept contactless payments from Visa, Maestro and MasterCard debit or credit cards as well as Apple Pay. The new card reader also includes a screen which makes pairing with a smartphone or tablet easier than ever. As previously, you need to download the free app to your mobile phone or tablet. Then just follow the instructions on the screen, you can easily connect the card reader to your device via Bluetooth.
