Problems processing payments - 'Amount Too High'

Message stating your amount is too high

You can process a payment of up to £5,500GBP per transaction with PayPal Here. If however, you are trying to process a payment below £5,500GBP and you receive a message in the App stating ‘Amount Too High’ this is possible as a result of you selecting ‘Charge’ and then ‘PayPal Check-in’ (which has a limit set at £150GBP). 

For example, if you intend to process any amount using chip and pin but in particular those amounts between £151 and £5,500GBP, please ensure that the card reader is connected to the App before selecting ‘Charge’.
