PayPal Here Keyed Tranaction information

Hi,
I am looking to use PayPal Here to process club memberships. The card holder will never be present so it will be through Keyed Transactions
The Terms say:
Keyed Transaction means a Card transaction where you do not swipe the Card via the PayPal Here Card Reader, but instead input the Card number and other required information via the PayPal Here App.

Could you let me know what this other required information is please, and could I ask for this information on an application form?

Also, can the application be used on a PC or is there a similar application which facilitates keyed transactions on a PC?

Hi Onefish, 

Welcome to the community. 

Some good questions here, when you select 'charge' it will prompt you to connect the card reader or insert a card at the top. On this same screen you will have the option to enter the 'card number' manually.

'Other information' may be the expiry date, CSC or the card holders postcode depending on the transaction. 

The app cannot be used on a PC I am afraid, it is available for iPhone, iPad and selected Android tablets and phones. Here you go-  www.paypal.co.uk/here

From a compliance point of view, can I ask for this additional information on teir appication form, or should we use a 'callback' process where they apply, and we ring them for their details?

In relation to the handling of card details this would be a matter of making a policy that suits your business. We wouldn't have guidelines on it because it would be outside of the PayPal transaction.
