Pay pal credit works no where!! Scam!!

I applied and recieved 3300$ in paypal credit. But when I tried to use it on an internet sale, it would not work. I called paypal and there excuse was that there security programs wouldnt allow the transaction to go through! My first transaction was for 37$!!! Why would that be stopped! And on top of that why cant I call and get it to go through!! What credit company gives you credit that yout cant use! It's a scam. And now I have it against me on my credit report. I should have just went and applied for a real credit card. DO NOT GET PAY PAL CREDIT!!

If your PayPal account is very recently opened (and I'm not sure if it makes a different whether you applied for it at the website or while making a purchase for on-the-spot credit decision), you'll need to make some successfully completed transactions (no disputes) with your own funds since opening the PPC account so the system has some transaction history to go on to gauge risk when deciding to offer PayPal Credit as a funding source to you or not.  $37 may not be a lot to trigger security/risk management system but just you never know what the other factors are that PayPal uses to allow a PPC charge or not. If it PPC is not offered or declined on this purchase, it is recommended to use a linked funding source to complete your purchase at this time.
