I cannot claim the money due to what was said that I must pay first the clearance money to my chosen channel from my email, what am I supposed to do?

What? Scam. Email maybe fake. PayPal does not ask you to pay a third party to see your funds. PayPal automatically deducts PayPal fee when a payment arrives in your PayPal account, if somebody really paid you. If you see no transaction and the money in your PayPal account, you have not been paid.

So the money sent via email wasn't real? They want me to purchase a gift card worth $100, the money sent was $2000 and the reason why they want me to buy a $100 worth of gift card is because of the clearance payment that was mentioned
