Can't receive payment to my account

Hello, I am trying to receive payment on my account 
the one who will send me money on it told me that account is wrong 
and am sure I sent him the right email
note that I didn't add credit nor bank account
I will just receive money on it and pay Udemy with it

I can understand that my account needs to be verified but the sender account is from USA
mine is from Egypt if I activate my account will that work?
