$100 gift card from PayPal in my email is it real

I received a email saying I get a $100 gift card from PayPal. Is it legit?

If the email address of sender is some spammy gibberish email address then its not legit. Then again it could be a friend who sent a surprise gift so check carefully.

 

You can forward the email to spoof@paypal.com
