Why does paypal sometimes charge a fee (almost 3%) for money I receive thru paypal? They never explain the fee.

How do you think paypal funds the service they provide you with and pay their staffs wages every month if you don't pay for that service?
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Hi @sricha5965,
Thank you for your post! I'm sorry that there is any confusion regarding the fees involved with receiving payments. If you are receiving payments for Goods and Services, there will be a fee. To learn more about the fees charged, please click Fees at the bottom of the PayPal website.
I hope this helps!
Olivia
