Hello all,
I’m looking for clarification on an issue that arose during my recent eBay bidding.
As may be seen from the attached screen shots, the listing showed a closing time Of 2:08 (not shown here) but the winning bid came in 51 seconds later and it appears my bid made the deadline.
I have no doubt this is simply a matter of my ignorance of eBay protocol, but I would appreciate knowing more about why this can happen.
Obviously, I didn’t expect to win with my low bid on an item that retails for over $400, new but I’m puzzled about the closing time.
An eBay associate told me the auction ended 58 seconds after the listed time.(???) How does someone learn that?
thanks

Sorry but you don't bid on paypal.
So if you are talking about an ebay transaction then why not ask on ebays forums as they are a totally different company?
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
