: U-48M29556JD917623X Is this a valid transaction code from PayPal it seems like a scam to me as it’s come through via a different email than the one I am contacting the person through

Not sure how we would know that anymore than you would to be honest.

If you gave some information on the transaction we may have more luck advising you.

This is resolved now but thank you. As soon as I said I was getting in touch with PayPal and mention the word ‘scam’ all comms stopped from their end!
