I have been receiving emails four weeks Form PayPal source that my account was being put on hold unless I update info. Finally weeks after the threat of it being limited I clicked on it and added personal information. Only to find out it was a fraudulent situation. It’s a shame this was going on for weeks and PayPal did not find or worn customers. now my personal information including Social Security is in the dark web. What a shame! Paypal could have done things to avoid this and secure customers. How did they not know? Are they connected?

Paypal have been warning you of spoof emails for years along with a myriad of other companies.

They all say you should NEVER click on a link in an unsafe email to enter personal or financial info.

This is a PayPal support response? LOL! No concern or empathy at all, just CYA.

Not one notice from PayPal did I ever get concerning or on site warning!

And what's an unsafe email? The ones I've got from PayPal explaining how they are holding my Money up to 3 weeks?

No company is too big to fail or loose market share! The world is changing where customer service is KING!
