A man I’ve been talking to offered to send me money via PayPal to help me with my broken down car. I want to give him my PayPal name but I’m afraid he could access my account and possibly steal from me. Is that possible??

All is needed is PayPal email address to send money, don't need to give name. They will see your name soon enough, after they REALLY sent payment as it will appear in the transaction details in their PayPal account activity and you see their name on yours.
Money can't be stolen with just PayPal email address. If you feel uncomfortable, then maybe its a clue to decline the offer from this person.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
