Because PayPal does not answer the phones! The scammers are answering all calls to PayPal and tried to extract money from PayPal customers. I almost got scammed twice because the PayPal phone numbers that showed up on google are fake ones, there are more than one fake PayPal phone numbers!! Beware!!! PayPal help!!!!
That is why paypal NEVER post their phone number to come up on google and remove it if someone posts it on this forum. The only way to get the real paypal customer services number is via help / contact bottom left of paypal pages. The scammers will always try to get you to buy vouchers or ask for sensitive financial account information which Paypal customer services would never do.
