If you log on to your PayPal account and don't see any problems or notifications (red dot on the bell icon), the email is fake. You can also check the email headers/raw text to see if there are any random email paths and domain names that have nothing to do with paypal or forward the email to spoof at PayPal dot coma and delete the email. Never click on any links in the emails or open attachments, just log on to your PayPal account directly.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
