I have sent money to a friend, but the charges are huge. We agreed to cancel the transaction, but the money left my Swiss bank account; not yet arrived on his account.
The payment can usually be canceled if it is in a pending or unclaimed status by the recipient. These payments will have a status of “Unclaimed” and will show in the “Pending” section of your PayPal account.
If the payment is completed, ask recipient to click "Refund this payment" in the transaction details.
