I think I’ve been scammed !!

Hi I found a laptop on Depop that I wanted to buy, it was priced at £600. I asked if that was the last price and he reduced to £550 from there he said pay on PayPal but on goods and services for protection (which is what made me think it was legit). But now I’ve had no message about it being posted (I bought it 3 days ago) and he’s relisted the laptop at £650 !! I have opened a dispute and was wondering because I paid through goods and services will I be able to get refunded? As £550 is a lot of money for me and I can’t afford to lose it. Thank you !

Did he send you a money request or invoice fully describing what you were paying for OR did you use send money > goods / services and again put in the description of the item you were paying for?

if so then if you open a dispute for non receipt and the seller does not send trackable proof of delivery you should get a refund BUT if he sends something that is not what you paid for then CHANGE the dispute quickly before it times out to 'received but not as described'....that is why you needed to make sure it was described accurately during the payment process.
