I received a text message on my phone

The message I received a text on my phone as follows:-

"PayPal: We have currently put a block on your account due to user security reasons. Visit: <removed>

to resolve & remove this block"

I did not respond to this as I believe it to be spam.

You're correct, that is a Spam. PayPal will never send you anything asking you to click any link. You may disregard it and delete it. Stay safe!
