Have I been scammed?

Received this email but no payment arrived. The buyer insisted I use PayPal so I thought that was safe. Dear Coreena, The money has been deducted from the buyer's account and will be credited into your PayPal account as soon as you send to us the shipment details, hereby confirming that the item has been posted. The transaction has been screened and proven to be 100% legitimate. You are hereby advised to go ahead and complete the transaction and post the item, For security reasons email the shipment details to PayPal only and wait till your account is credited before emailing the receipt to the buyer. As mentioned in the receipt of Payment and as per the new PayPal Payment policy for international transactions involving huge amounts, we have fully debited the total amount of $1,18 0.08 AUD from the buyer's account which includes the shipping fees charges. In order to complete this transaction and get the funds approved in your account. We will need you to have the merchandise shipped to the address provided on the notification slip and send us a Scanned Copy/Photograph of the shipment receipt issued to you at the post office (in .JPG Format). We currently have limited customer service staffing due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) safety precautions. We encourage you to find quick answers to your questions by visiting our Help Center. Thank you for your patience. NOTE: This is important as a security measure to ensure safety of this transaction. Important notice: This message is for your own interest in order to avoid enormous sending charges while posting the goods. For your own security and to reduce the shipping charges, we strongly advise you to not disclose details of your transaction to anyone, particularly the Australia Post office agent. If asked what the goods are meant for, just simply state that it is for personal reasons or family abroad because if you disclose that this payment is for transport or a transaction being conducted, it will attract unusual charges or taxes but if you simply state as instructed, the sending charges will be greatly reduced. At PayPal, our duty is to make you experience a strong sense of security you have never experienced with any other payment organization in the past so we advise you to strongly heed to our guidelines for your own safety. Kindly confirm that you receive this message so that we can be sure you are up to date and also. Your Account will be credited accordingly upon the receipt of details requested. It should either be sent to us in JPG format or the transfer details written out and emailed to us. Be informed that this transaction is only available and can only be tracked and traced via email, so do reply back to us if you have any questions about the transaction. We are assuring you of 100% safety, and as soon as the shipment details have been emailed to us, a total of funds will be credited into your account.

SCAM.

They encourage you to accept a 'direct' Paypal payment and may ask you to send the item internationally.
No funds or activity of the transaction shows in your Paypal account and any emails 'may' go into your junk/spam folders.

You will get/got a "fake" email that looks as though it is from paypal.....it isn't because they don't actually have a Paypal account and have no intention of paying you.
It will say the buyer has paid ...you won't have been paid.
They will tell you that the payment is released when you provide paypal with a tracking/shipping number......this won't happen.

Paypal NEVER tell you to send an item before the payment is showing in your paypal account.

Paypal payments are instant.
Paypal do not tell you to send trackable, they advise it for selling protection but it is not compulsory.
Delete any emails and ignore the scammers.

Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
