FEES!

I have made a payment today and a fee was charged. There was no indication at any point during my transaction that this was going to happen. I have never been charged a fee previously so why today?

You must have funded that paypal payment via a credit card if it was a friends / family transaction?

Usually sender do not pay a fee. Did you send intl personal payment? There maybe fees for that.
