Email fraud

Hello I just received an email stating I just paid $650 from my PayPal account. Assuming this is an attempted scam? How do I verify? Sincerely Myles

Hi,

By logging into your account directly at PayPal website and check the activity page. If there is no such transaction, then it’s a spoof email. Forward the email to spoof@paypal.com
