I paid for a product using a MasterCard gift card linked to my Paypal account. However, the seller was out of stock and asked Paypal to refund, which they did ... to my MasterCard gift card. I see no sign of this on my online statement yet. I know it might take up to 30 days, but my question is this: is it possible tor refund a Gift Card?
Another great question! As long as the gift card is capable of accepting both debits and credits, then we should be able to process the refund to the card. If for some reason our system is unable to process the refund, the money would most likely bounce back to the PayPal balance. I would recommend reaching out to the gift card issuer to confirm whether or not the card is capable of receiving both debits and credits.
