Thanks for reaching out! I hope by now you've been able to update your payment receiving preferences. If not, make sure you're following the steps listed below. If you were and are still receiving the error, I would recommend clearing cache and cookies or switching browsers as we don't have any reported issues with this as of right now.
To block payments, please follow these directions:
Login to your PayPal account.
Click the Settings icon next to "Log out."
Click Payment preferences.
Click Update beside "Block payments."
From there, you should be able to manage your payment receiving preferences.
