Hi @Lauraw1989,   Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the PayPal Community! When a transfer is initiated from the bank to PayPal, it can take 3-5 business days for the money to arrive to PayPal. Hi @AugustinAustin,   That's a great question! Currency conversions will only apply if more than one currency is involved in a transaction (either receiving or sending money). As long as you've seen that the PayPal payment is listed as "Completed" and you can see the money in your PayPal balance, you should be able to send out the item to the buyer. Hi @LayFire,   Unfortunately, you would not be able to add money to your PayPal balance from a debit, credit, or prepaid card. Money can only be added to the PayPal balance from a bank. I just wanted to clarify that when receiving a payment for Goods and Services, PayPal will automatically take out a transaction fee from the amount received. This is an automatic process and isn't something you would have to manually initiate. If you're being requested to actually pay someone else to receive your money, this may be a scam. It sounds like you might not yet have a PayPal Cash or Cash Plus account, which is required to hold a balance within the PayPal account. The 1234 will be replaced with your specific code to complete the verification. Depending on the card issuer, it may take a billing cycle for the charge to display on the statement. If you've already began the process of withdrawing the money to your bank account and you don't have enough money in the PayPal balance to cover the refund, any refunded balance will be pulled from the bank. I would recommend allowing the money to clear into the bank before initiating a refund. Since technically it is possible for banks to reject deposits, I would hate for you to be in a position in which you initiate the refund, the bank rejects the deposit, and now you don't have that money to cover the refund you've issued.    Thanks, Gwen ... If you were and are still receiving the error, I would recommend clearing cache and cookies or switching browsers as we don't have any reported issues with this as of right now.    To block payments, please follow these directions: Login to your PayPal account. Click the Settings icon next to "Log out." Click Payment preferences. Click Update beside "Block payments."
