PayPal Access Card Not Working

My card worked fine until today but was declined twice in shops today despite having plenty of funds available. Is anyone else having issues?

No information anywhere as to why this is happing and when we will be will be able to access our money

I've not been able to use my card since Monday like the rest I did manage to get through to customer services this morning after being on hold for 15 minutes, they admitted that "they were having some problems with Paypal Access cards" but couldn't give me an idea of when it will be sorted, they did take my details and said someone would contact me within the next 48 hours.....so the conspiracy theorist in me suspects that it will be sorted in that time or they have a mighty lot of calls to make.

------ update ---- good news ----
just been to the post office and the paypal access card is working on the post office counters chip and pin machines both on the chip and pin side and the chip and pass side.
only did payments of a small amount aka less than £4.00 for both transactions to test to see if the system was working. with that lack of information coming from paypal customer services.
could not do a large transaction due to having to get money out to pay for the rest of my posting i need to do, in case the system was not working prior to posting. so it looks like its back to normal now i hope.
the post office staff have not had any memos or bulletins about this over their computer terminal. so they have been in the dark just like us.

Spoke to customer services few hours ago. I was given no information on what's wrong. Didn't get part first lines and was told to wait for a call back within 48 hours. Card is still not working.

I cant believe this problem is still not resolved. Paypal Access Card is an utter disgrace.
This is my main business card so everything goes through this, rejected several times 10 days ago, one of which was in the post office when id already had over 100 parcels stamped before payment. I gave them the weekend to resolve the problem then called up customer services to resolve the issue. Apparently it was a known issue and they would fix it and call me back. A week later im still waiting for my call and the card still doesnt work.
How they can dream of calling this a business card is beyond a joke. Ive had issues every few months since I got the card and they dont seem to be learning their lesson. As a business I always need my funds and card available and working for my business to run smoothly and they cannot provide that continuous service that is required.
If any employee is actually reading this comments tell your bosses/ IT departments to pull their finger out and get this fixed.

Its kind of funny but cant laugh calledon 12/09/14 but pp after waiting on hold for 20 mins, spoke with someone who despite the fact they know of the card problem but he dont know why (cant give any explanation) and said he would forward my number and a senior analyst would call me back in 48 hrs been more than 48 hrs and no email no call back not even a general apology in forum or individual emails to say when it would be sorted out its a big shame to Pp
First considering how Pp have monopolised the online payment system this is a big insult to its image
Second you take our money from final value fees ebay fees and what ever kind of fees as if thats not enough you then put an 0845 number thats freaking not cheap and yet even though we still call you cant give a freaking explanation.
think its just better i start saving my money in cash safely under my pillow bed reality cash has never failed
