Everyones entitled to an opinion, especially on this topic but if Paypal Access Card is still in testing after over 2 years of use then id have even greater concerns. There a lot of non invite customers who now have this card so it would appear to have a much greater role out than invitation only.    ive only ran a business for 4 years so there are many out their who would have greater experience than me but any service or equipment I use for my business needs to be reliable. Paypal Access Card is not. Yes it would be very easy to carry another form of funding around with me but why should i have to when funds are readily available? I originally used this card as it was convenient and saved me transfering funds from one account to the other. If i have to then have a secondary payment option "just in case" then I may as well use that on a permanent basis instead.    I didnt say the staff humiliated me. My humilitation was no fault of the staff at the Post Office, who I actually know very well. But i personally did not feel happy or comfortable having stamped so many items in front of other customers and then not being able to pay for them. I also do not feel happy unloaded a full shopping trolley and bagging all my items only to have my card declined and to have to walk away empty handed. You obviously have thicker skin than me if situations like this do not bother you.   If my business internet provided underperformed as much as this card I would switch If my business mobiles reception was down as much as this I would switch If a supplier let me down on delivery times or stock quality I would switch   What im trying to say is this is a card that is fundamental to the smooth running of my business and it fails to perform too many times. If anyone has had a much better experience of this card then great, its good to know it works better for some (im presuming youre happy with a 2nd rate performance) but for me, and my business, its just not worth the hassle.       ... Paypal Paula,   The fact it takes your company over 3 weeks to write that response is nearly as insulting as the callback failure that your telephone operators are promising.     Many of your customers have "made you aware" of the situation weeks ago and have been restricted from using their paypal access cards all that time. Thats unacceptable as a basic consumer but as a business user you are effectively **bleep** with my livelihood.    I have been humilitated whist trying to dispatch my orders where the local post office has declined my trasnactions. In normal shopping situations this wouldnt cause the same headache but when 100 parcels have all been stamped without any abiity to pay for that service someone needs to be held accountable.    At the start of the 3 week ordeal if any bright spark at Paypal Access Card would have had the novel idea to contact its customers pre-warning them about this issue youd have found your customers would have been a lot more accepting and forgiving but instead youve done the typical Paypal thing and stuck your heads in the sand.    The majority of us have had a 20 minute phone conversation (19 minutes of that being on hold and 1 minute being promised a call back by a phone operator that has no idea what is going on) and for some this is charged at its highest rate. Personally I have had to call via my mobile phone.   Will you be refunding your customers these charges for failing to provide any service or achieve the 48 hour call back promised during those calls? Of course you wont! you'll just expect us to accept this disgusting level of service as you hold the market place for Ebay businesses who have little option but to accept paypal payments and who then inturn need to use paypal access card to save having to transfer these funds on a daily/hourly basis.   But oh well, guess my rant is over, and at least you "understand that this has been inconvenient"!!!     ... I cant believe this problem is still not resolved. Paypal Access Card is an utter disgrace.   This is my main business card so everything goes through this, rejected several times 10 days ago, one of which was in the post office when id already had over 100 parcels stamped before payment. I gave them the weekend to resolve the problem then called up customer services to resolve the issue. Apparently it was a known issue and they would fix it and call me back. A week later im still waiting for my call and the card still doesnt work.   How they can dream of calling this a business card is beyond a joke. Ive had issues every few months since I got the card and they dont seem to be learning their lesson. As a business I always need my funds and card available and working for my business to run smoothly and they cannot provide that continuous service that is required.   If any employee is actually reading this comments tell your bosses/ IT departments to pull their finger out and get this fixed. ...
