Will TransactionSearch and GetTransactionDetails be available after june 2018

According to https://www.paypal-notice.com/en/Discontinue-Use-of-GET-Method-for-Classic-APIs/ the only two functions (TransactionSearch and GetTransactionDetails) of the SOAP api we use are discontinued because it are GET methods.
Does that mean that the functionality will completely be lost or will it become available via a POST method?
We are using the SOAP API for this as the REST API doesn't support transaction search. As soon as REST API does support fetching transaction and transaction details (we want all transaction done after a specific date) we are pleased to switch from SOAP to REST.

Do you have more details how to do this (gettransactionDetails)? (get the eBay Userid from the transactions id)
