Confirm an address

I want to confirm one of my addresses, and I have used the help pages that lead me to this page:

https://www.paypal.com/helpcenter/main.jsp;jsessionid=L5KyTrMQnK4yjvQ16xlrpwzVQRT3h2JM6Qn1t0RcJhnpkm...

I would like to do the 'Request a confirmation code by mail' and it gives these instructions:

To request a confirmation code by mail:

  1. Log in to your PayPal account.
  2. Click Help at the top of the page.
  3. Enter Confirm an address in the Search box.
  4. Click How do I confirm an address?
  5. Click Alternate Address Confirmation.
  6. Select the address you want to confirm or add a new address, then follow the instructions.

However, it keeps leading me back to that page once I get to step 4. Step 5 is nowhere to be found. Anyone have a clue?

You do not currently qualify for Alternative Address Confirmation.

Now what? 🙂

These are the requirements to qualify:

  • Be a PayPal member for longer than 90 days
  • Have a Buyer Reputation Numberof at least 10
  • Be a Verifiedmember of PayPal (add and confirm a bank account)
  • Be a domestic user in good standing
  • Provide an address that is NOT a P.O. Box

I have everything, except I am unsure what my "Buyer Reputation Number" is. Where can I see what it is and how can I raise it if it's too low?

I also had the same question about verifying my address, as this seller only delivers to verified addresses. I've also gotten to the invisible step 5. I also tried the alternate way and found that my buyer reputation is zero. I've probably sent over 30 payments over the past 2 years, and there's no way that none of them are verified members.

I think only my billing address is confirmed. I'd have to change my billing address if I want my order shipped where I want it.

Yeah, mine said 1. I looked at my transaction list and everyone I pulled up said the member was "Verified" so I don't understand.

Right, we know what it is. Currently it's not performing accurately.
