Paypal continuously putting my new payments into pending??

Ok so a few of my payments were put on hold for 'high risk' no clue why, I have been selling for a while with no suspicious increase or activity, I'm guessing its from the amount of disputes? Things not arriving etc which I also refund immediately.

Anyways so whatever slightly annoyed they're putting them on hold but I got feedback and confirmation of shipping for a few parcels so expecting the rest to be released, it's not. It's already a hassle to keep bothering buyers about confirming delivery (only 3 have) and even 2 weeks later, some of my funds are STILL being put on hold, estimated to be released in another few weeks. I'm really confused, are my funds just going to keep being held forever? Sure I'll receive the payments from weeks ago but is it going to be a continuous waiting of weeks to get my funds?? I've never experienced this before and I'm not sure why it's happening or if it's normal, I know about them holding a few payments but to keep holding recent ones from 2 weeks later I don't understand at all.

Answers would be appreciated since the customer support centre is just a copy and paste and calling up is also a regurgitation of the same thing which doesn't apply to me.

Hi lucy710,

Welcome to the community and thank you for your post.

It sounds like your funds are currently being placed on hold due to a large volume of disputes. We suggest that you communicate with your customers often and work with them to resolve any concerns.

By placing the payments on hold, PayPal want to make sure that there are enough funds in your PayPal account to resolve any issues that may arise with your transactions, such as chargebacks or disputes.

Typically, funds are released after 21 days, or 24 hours after confirmed delivery. To be eligible for an early release, you need to attach your tracking information to the transaction in the 'Activity' section of your account. Once the tracking shows as delivered for more than 24 hours, the funds should be released.

I hope this helps!
