Payment Hold After Successfully Getting The Invoice Paid

Hello guys,

 

I just got my 2 invoices paid yesterday by my client and PayPal just put the amount on hold. So simply I contacted the support for the reason, and they are asking me to upload the shipping details or wait for 21 days.

 

I provide digital marketing and web development services to my clients so it's not hard to understand that I can't provide the shipping details because I am not shipping anything but they are asking me to hold for 21 days.

 

Because of this Corona pandemic, we are working on extreme pressure, it's really hard to get payment from clients. And PayPal is doing this to us. I have planned all my expenses for the next week but PayPal has decided to hold my payment for 21 days. And now the client is asking me to deliver the work.

 

I had been using PayPal's personal account for more than 9 years and I never saw this type of issue. I opened my start in the month of February 2020 and I saw the PayPal add for a business account, I opened it and uploaded all the docs. After that, I received one small fund as well without any problem.

 

After contacting the PayPal support for this payment hold issue, They replied after a day and it's robotic. Here is the msg sent from the agent:

"Hi! My name is Ankit. Thank you for contacting PayPal. I am happy to assist you with your query. I understand you have a concern regarding payment hold.

 

Upon checking I can see that the payment for transaction 2G687212A........ is on hold.

 

Don’t worry. The money still belongs to you. It is just unavailable temporarily as PayPal is following a common industry practice to help ensure a safe environment for both buyers and sellers. Let me just look-up the status of your money and see if I can help you get money earlier.

 

You'll have access to your pending payment, below are the points that you can follow:

 

1. Once the buyer confirms the delivery, the funds will be released immediately.

 

2. Once shipping tracking detail is uploaded through our partner couriers (EKart, India Post Domestic, India Post International, Delhivery, Bluedart, DTDC, Professional Couriers, Red Express, Xpress Bees, Spreadel, Dotzot, UPS, or FedEx) and shipping has been completed/delivered, fund release will be done in 1 business day. (not applicable for virtual orders) (not applicable for virtual orders)

 

3. If you do not meet the above criteria then you need to wait for 21 days from the day on which hold was placed.

 

In this case the period of 21 days will complete on Aug, 25, 2020"
 
I am not feeling good about it. Is there anyone who can help me?
