Not supposed to extract money from card to add to your PayPal balance if that is what you did, so that could be why it was removed. You can make a payment with your linked card though during checkout. Don't know why people want to wait for the money to be added when they can just select funding source when paying. You get buyer protection with your PayPal balance but if you somehow lose dispute, you have no other recourse. Whereas if you paid with card, you get that extra layer of protection.
