Whenever I log onto my PayPal it says that my balance is "waiting for you" and I must "accept the money" by creating a PayPal cash account. This involves identity verification which I do not want to do. The money is not on hold from one transaction, it is my entire, accumulated balance. How can I access my funds?

Click Keep it in PayPal and follow the steps to get set up with PayPal Cash. This includes viewing the disclosures, user agreement and confirming your identity with us.

I have the same thing showing up for me.. why do I have this? Is it from a left over balance I had in pay pal years ago? I havent used this paypal acct in years.. i knew i still had some money it this acct but i had closed the bank acct that i had set up with pay pal...i no longer have the bank acct number either. .. is this what its from or are they trying to get you to use this amt so then you are to pay that amt back??? I cant seem to get any answers.. thanks for any help insight into this!
