I cant link my card

I accidentally opened a business account and deleted it.

Now I am attempting to link my personal account to my debit card, but I get an error saying the card is already linked to a paypal account. When i closed the account I followed the steps to open a new account with the same email.

Thanks for your post! I understand that you are having issues in adding card to your PayPal account. You can contact Customer Service and let them know that you have accidentally created a business account was closed it with a card active and you need that card to be disabled on that account. So you will get an option to add it on new account. To contact our support team, you can use the contact us option listed on bottom of our website.
