Help!! Funds on Hold

I have sold my IPhone and the buyer transferred me the funds via PayPal. Now PayPal have held the funds until I provide the tracking number etc. I’ve replied to their email with those details but how long will it take to get my funds or a reply saying yes the money has gone into your account?

Well the funds should be SHOWING in your paypal balance BEFORE you send anything.

If you were subject to the new seller hold then the funds would still SHOW in your balance but have 'pending' by them.

If they are not showing at all then it sounds like a SCAM.

If it was the new seller hold then yes adding a tracking i.d releases the funds a bit earlier but you enter that tracking i.d. ON the transaction IN your paypal account and NOT via an email.
