Are you trying to link the PayPal Prepaid MasterCard ACH Direct Deposit Account and Routing Number to Mecari? I don't think that will work. Mecari says nothing about accepting PayPal https://www.mercari.com/help_center/article/92/ and the PayPal Prepaid MasterCard ACH Direct Deposit Account is for tax refunds, government payments and paychecks. Personally I don't trust using it for other than those purposes that PayPal promotes. Wait a couple more days and call PayPal customer service and see what they say, perhaps they can trace the funds. Because it may not work, it could take longer for the systems to communicate errors. So you tried to link your own (non-paypal) bank account to Mercari and it wouldn't let you? Always investigate if you can use certain accounts together first before doing it because not everything work with each other well.
Call customer service: Click HELP at the top menu, scroll down to click CONTACT US, scroll down to click CALL US.
