Yes, you can use your debit card if you do not wish to use a credit card on your PayPal account.

How do I do it

Here’s how to add a card to your account:

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click Wallet near the top of the page.
3. Click Link a credit card.
4. Select the Card type and enter the card number, expiration date, and 3 digit code.
5. Click Link Card.

Tips:

• Some merchants cannot accept American Express. Consider adding a backup card to your account.
• You can link up to 24 credit cards or debit cards to your PayPal account.

Mine is not displaying card type

Please ignore the wording. The information provided to you is for credit and debit cards. You will be able to add the MasterCard debit card following the steps listed in my previous message.

Sorry for disturbing but I also tried that with two of my debit cards but it telling me that my card has been declined

All I can see is credit card number. There is no place requesting for debit card number. I am also using MasterCard which is a debit card
