Paypal not allowing me to add bank account and only credit card?

I have a bank account I wish to attach to my Paypal account however Paypal seems to want me to add a credit/debit card only. It’s not giving me the option to add a bank account. Is there something wrong with my Paypal? Will appreciate any help I can get!

You can't add a local bank account in your country.
You can only add a linked card.

Also the option to 'receive' paypal payments is sadly not available in your country.
You can only 'send' payments for purchases.

Click on the link below and select the country you want from the drop down list for options available in that country.
