Why was Tommy Robinsons account closed? If I don't get an acceptable answer I would like to close my account also.

So you don't think any of us had?
And don't you think they should give the guy they banned and the guy whose account they seized a reason too?
And hey...if you're seeking to continue with paypal knowing they perform these fascist acts, well I'm afraid I'm not going to be to concerned about whether they solve your problems or not if you continue on with them. Good luck to you.

I am here for the 'users' of paypal and not for paypal themselves.
That is why this is a COMMUNITY forum, ie helping others.
All you are doing with these constant pathetic political rants is clogging up the forum so those that need help are delayed in getting it.
I have saved at least 2 folks from being scammed this morning alone, but then I guess you not concerned about them at all whereas I am.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

I don't give two turds about who you're here for if you have no interest in addressing our concerns. If paypal advisors don't like "political rants" then paypal should stop playing politics.
And personally I find it far more important to protect free speech than whatever it is you think you're doing to protect your clients from getting scammed. Because let's face it - most scams occur because the victim did something stupid in the first place

Thanks for confirming via your language in the post above your level of intelligence, certainly explains the rant.
And I don't have any 'clients', you still haven't grasped what a community forum is have you, again explains a lot.
I'll leave you to enjoy your little rant and probable future insults and vile language, hopefully all your threads will soon be merged by the moderators so you can all enjoy talking to one another and we can get on with helping the folk that need help on here.

I'm ditching Paypal now that they have become global thought police.

I am a pay pal user and I care about freedom of speech. Closing Tommys account is a disgrace. If you are not interested butt out and get some bitty.

I think Pay Pal is a typical left leaning financial corporation, they are gutless and unwilling to stand up to pressure from the liberal establishment. This is probably a bad business move as Tommy Robinson has a lot of support worldwide.

Why not email and ask them.
All these threads on the SAME topic on here are delaying those actually trying to get help with paypal problems.
Do you have a reliable email address for Their Customer Services then? I was told when I called that there wasn't one. I completed the Online contact form only to then get the message that the facility wasn't working. And All this after I had called them. What a waste of time that was. I enquired on their side of the Tommy story. They said they couldn't tell me anything due to "data protection" - that reliable old chestnut. They didn't seem to get my point that by freezing my payments to Tommy they effectively weren't fulfilling their bargain with me. The money I intended for Tommy has been taken and held by PayPal. If I had been buying a car and they did this, I would be pretty hacked off if the car dealer wouldn't let me have the car because PayPal was holding the money...... It's the same principle.
So, I gave them a chance to explain and they blew it. I'm really annoyed at having to close my account as I really liked it. But sometimes principle is more important.
