Hi @Jimmy1989,
The only time that you would not be able to receive payments is when you have not confirmed your email just yet. Thus, here are the steps on how to confirm your email address:
- Click the Settings icon next to "Log out."
- Click on the email address you want to confirm under "Email."
- Click Confirm this email address and we’ll send you an email with a confirmation link.
- Click the link in the email to complete the confirmation process.

Nonetheless, I highly recommend not clicking on any links on that email you have received for that might be a phishing email. Here is an article that I would suggest for you to read on:
