i Have a problem that i sold few digital codes. the buyer is claiming his ebay account was hacked and he did not place the order. and the codes have been redeemed. the user filed unauthorized activity towardd the financial institution. what are my options here as seems paypal is not able to protect me and i am going to loose my products amd pay the charge back. also what is the best option to ensure that when i sell such goods that the buyer wouldn't be able to claim it as not authorized and in case he did i am protectrd?

An unauthorised transaction means that an account holders Paypal account was hacked and used without their consent by your ?buyer.
If Paypal check IP addresses etc and find in favour of the account holder then of course they are reimbursed.

However you would not lose out either as long as you met ALL the requirements of seller protection, however paypal seller protection does not cover virtual /digital goods.
