Hi There,
I have a payment on hold for an item I sold on eBay today as I am a first time seller, but just to settle my mind, is the buyer able to request a chargeback whilst the payment is still on hold? I have sent the item today and uploaded the tracking info but there is that worry that the buyer could try to reverse the payment at any time.
Thank you!

Hello @EmRose1,
Congratulations on your first sale and welcome to PayPal! I understand your concern regarding your protection as a seller. A buyer has the right to file a chargeback or dispute for 180 days. However, as long as your transaction is seller protection eligible and you provide a tracking number showing the package was delivered to the correct shipping address, you are covered by PayPal from loss.
Here is additional information about our Seller Protection. I hope this helps!
