What happens with the transaction fees I paid when I lose a dispute?

Hi,
In a case I lost a dispute case, PP takes the money back from me, are they taking only the amount I paid without the fee?
I mean, if I got paid 10$ and 1$ from it was a fee, they take back only 9$?
