I was selling an in game item to a buyer. I was new to PayPal and was sent an email that said the transaction went through. Soon after giving him the item the money was not showing in my account even though I received the email. I found out the email was fake and I was scammed for my item and never received the money. I don't know what to do and I'm wondering if there is a way to receive my money.

Sorry, nope. You can invoice the buyer but the buyer is a scammer. They’re not going to pay. Next time, always make sure you see funds in your account first, don’t just believe emails. Even if the payment is subject to PayPal hold, you’ll still see record of payment.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
