Someone bought an item off me for £30 then “accidentally” transferred me £240 and then asked me to transfer them £210 back. I did it, then they still filed a dispute for the original £240 and it got taken off my account by paypal, so i now lost £200. The person now obviously is ignoring me and I need this money can someone please help?
You full on got scammed and I doubt even if you dispute it paypal would help you they let buyers get away with getting their refunds via chargebacks or unauthorized transactions even with evidence that goes against them. So you are full on stuck other than go to file a lawsuit and hope someone helps you that way.
