Hi, I’ve sold an iPhone today, to a young lad from London, or so I thought. The PayPal transaction has come from a man in Harrogate. Of course I haven’t shipped the phone as I’m pretty sure that the PayPal account has been hacked. Should I just refund the amount? Or hold the amount until I have had the chance to speak to PayPal?

Refund the money if you do not feel comfortable with the sale. I don't know what PayPal can tell you, tbh until someone reports unauthorized payment.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
